Massive explosion in Kazakhstan as fire engulfs military warehouse

At least 30 people have been admitted to hospital following a huge explosion and fire near the Kazakhstan–Kyrgyzstan border earlier today. The source of the explosion is not yet known, but the fire is believed to have spread to a local military warehouse. Local firefighters continue to tackle the blaze. Reports from the scene indicate that some shells inside the warehouse are still detonating, making efforts to calm the fire more difficult.
