Portland protests: Fence pulled down at federal courthouse, police declare riot

Fencing surrounding a federal courthouse in Portland was pulled down on Saturday night as police fired tear gas to disperse protesters on the 59th night of unrest. Portland police declared a riot shortly after the fence was taken down. Peaceful racial injustice protesters say they are upset for being targeted and gassed by police. Meanwhile, protests of solidarity took place in several U.S. cities on Saturday night including in Richmond, VA and Seattle, WA.
