Using Valve Grinding Paste to Polish Lids

You’ll want the sound on for this video. Here’s the process every one of my lidded pots undergoes after being fired. It’s slow, noisy, greasy and it smells, but it makes the lids fit with a glassy smoothness. I also followed the advice many of you suggested since seeing this last, which was using the DiamondCore Tools sticky pad to hold the lid in place as I push the body portion down against it.
