The initial symptoms were recognized by paramedics as anxiety and panic attack. Often looks through the window and sits on the floor near to bed; restlessly walks in his room with hands kept in pockets, looks around as if searching for particular object. Regularly asks if there were any road accidents or phone calls to him since last interview. Considerable insomnia-related sleep deprivation and lack of appetite, registered significant weight loss over last month. Interviews with patient and his family show that the patient has been a witness of fatal car crash about two months ago and performed an unsuccessful first aid attempt; the victim of accident was confirmed dead after the ambulance arrived. Can be released home if panic attacks will not reoccur.
