I am very excited to share with you this beautiful planthanger tutorial. It may look difficult/complicated, but I assure you it’s not! I always make sure to tape up the ends of your 3ply cords so they don’t unravel while working with only knots used are one gathering knot, and the Square Knots/Alternating Square Knots. If you are new to macrame and don’t know, or need extra help with those knots, please watch this video before you begin:
Here is a link to the 5mm, 3 ply rope I used:
This planthanger measures 39in/100cm in length.
*** IF THE VIDEO IS TOO FAST YOU CAN ADJUST THE PLAYBACK SPEED BY TAPPING THE 3 DOTS ON THE RIGHT OF YOUR SCREEN. ***
Here is exactly what I used:
-scotch tape to tape the ends
- 5mm, 3 ply rope cut to the following lengths:
- 1 x 2ft/61cm
- 6 x 10ft/305cm
- wooden ring. I don’t have a link, but there are plenty on Amazon.
