Inner Worlds of Carnivorous Plants

A journey through the Inner Worlds of carnivorous plants imaged with Optical Projection Tomography. The movie shows four examples of vessel-shaped leaves that evolved independently. In order of appearance they are: Albany pitcher (Cephalotus), tropical pitcher (Nepenthes), bladderwort suction traps (Utricularia), and American pitcher (Sarracenia).
