Lovebird Stars Fahriye Evcen & Burak Özçivit

The classic Turkish novel Çalıkuşu, written by Reşat Nuri Güntekin in 1922, has gone through a number of adaptations, for both the big and small screens. The latest is Lovebird (Çalıkuşu), a drama series produced by TIMS Productions and sold internationally by Global Agency. It stars Fahriye Evcen and Burak Özçivit. Evcen and Özçivit met with World Screen to discuss the series and what it was like to work on a period drama. The interview was filmed in Turkish.
