Ukrainian-designed drones fight against Russian forces around Bakhmut

Ukrainian soldiers displayed on Friday (May 19) the Ukrainian-designed ‘Leleka’ - an unmanned aerial vehicle, or UAV, used to fight Russian forces around Bakhmut. The ‘Leleka’, which is Ukrainian for ‘stork’, is capable to fly behind enemy lines to detect clusters of equipment, infantry, providing essential information for adjusting artillery fire. Valentyn’s unit operates in the vicinity of Bakhmut, where Ukraine has launched counter-offensive actions against defending Russian forces, he said.
