These giant white bears are POLAR BEARS! They live in the Arctic where it is very, very cold. They have a nice thick layer of blubber that helps keep them warm. They also have two coats! A thick, short, undercoat, and a longer layer of guard hairs. Did you know that a Polar Bear’s coat isn’t really white? It’s translucent, and it looks white to us because it is reflecting light.
