In 2009 Citi Field replaced Shea Stadium, making it one of the newest stadiums in MLB. Although you can tour the stadium on a non-game day, I love baseball, so I had to get us tickets to a Mets vs Phillies rivalry game! Before the game, we see the Jackie Robinson Rotunda, look around the Mets Hall of Fame and Museum, window shop in the Mets Team Store, and explore the incredible abundance of dining options. Plus, I make it my mission to find the Pizza Cupcake, which I taste test in this video. Then, we listen to a unique rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner”, chuckle at this game’s ceremonial first pitch, and spot Mr. Met and Mrs. Met livening up the party. Throughout the low-scoring game (1-1 from beginning to end) I give you some trivia I learned about the Mets, and we cheer with the crowd. Though it was DJ night at Citi Field, the truly epic moment came when Pitcher Edwin Diaz made his grand entrance to the trumpets for the 9th inning of the game. The tied game spilled into a 10th innin
