Subscribe to Our Life: In April 2011 a group of civilians were invited to visit the nuclear submarine HMS Astute, which was docked at Southampton. The group were in the control room being shown around by Lt Commanders Ian Molyneux and Chris Hodge when they heard a loud banging noise from the corridor.
