Police officer grabs student and slams her to the ground, South Carolina

An incident caught on camera between a school resource officer and a student at a South Carolina high school is under investigation. Video has emerged showing an officer grabbing the student and throwing her to the ground as students watched. The Richland County Sheriff’s Office said the officer, who students have identified as an Officer Ben Fields, was trying to remove a student from the class who refused to leave.
