Bridging Heaven & Earth Show # 61 with Lama Ole Nydahl & Timothy Lee

Lama Ole was one of the first two western students of the great Buddhist, the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, who saw them as protectors of his lineage. Since 1972, after three years of extensive training in the Himalayas, he has been instrumental in starting 180 Diamond Way Buddhist teaching centers worldwide. He is an acclaimed author who has written many books, and his new release, “The Way Things Are, A Living Approach to Buddhism for Today’s World“, is a living transmission of Buddha’s deepest wisdom. Timothy has been a professional musician for over twenty years. He began his career by building, repairing, and playing guitars. In 1994, he was introduced to the rich harmonics of the clay vessel flute and the second phase of his musical career took root. Timothy is now a respected sculptor of many unique clay vessel instruments, most especially the ancient Peruvian style flute. The sounds that Timothy makes with his flutes are extraordinarily beautiful and uplifting. Bridging
