Marvel’s New Captain America Takes Flight in Brave New World Trailer

Marvel Studios has released the first trailer for Captain America: Brave New World, the fourth installment in the Captain America film series and the 34th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Captain America, who took over the mantle from Steve Rogers at the end of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021). The trailer opens with a voice-over from Harrison Ford as Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross, the Secretary of State and former general who has a history of hunting down superheroes. He says: “The world has changed. We need a new kind of hero. One who can adapt to any situation. One who can lead us into a brave new world.” We then see glimpses of various locations around the world, such as New York, London, Tokyo, and Wakanda, where Wilson is seen fighting against different threats, such as terrorists, robots, and aliens.
