“Earth Shaker“ title music, ZX Spectrum 48k

Earth Shaker was an excellent little Boulderdash... well, “clone“ is too harsh a word for it - it’s actually got a lot going for it above and beyond First Star’s classic that makes it stand out from the crowd. This multi-channel theme tune is one of the things that earns Earth Shaker its chops, being both technically and musically accomplished and a great listen. Author Michael Batty did everything in the game including the tune too - truly a one man band production! The game got a second lease of life fairly recently, launching on the Xbox Live Indie channel and looking practically identical to its Speccy incarnation (it even has this tune!). Check it out here:
