London, the capital of the UK, has been an important financial, educational and cultural center for centuries. This world city is filled with iconic symbols. Tower Bridge is a striking reminder of London’s rapid expansion during the industrial revolution. To the west of this is the country’s seat of power, the Palace of Westminster.
