Vallahir - Doom Over Karag Haraz (full album, 2023)

I recently featured Vallahir’s grand concept album, The Journey To Eight Peaks, and today I present the follow up, as our concluding album to this week’s Dungeon Synth Sunday. This is the second album from this epic medieval fantasy DS adventuring project, from UK-based multi-instrumentalist and prolific artist, Thomas Khrul. The harpsichord driven opening pieces are son overcast by a gloomier pall – as the album title suggest, doom lurks in the depths of this album as it progresses towards dark and dangerous events….but is there a certain peril to how the story ends?
