Whale bone Taniwha hook pendant

Kia ora ,this carved whale bone hook has the head of a maori taniwha monster carved on the side. This carving is made from part of a stranded sperm whale jaw the background is part of a sperm whales back bone.I once stood on that dead sperm whales body days after it stranded.
