🇷🇺 🇺🇸 Very bad news for the Ukrainian army: Russian “HIMARS“ in action! This video from March 5 shows the defeat of an American HIMARS system (with the subsequent detonation of its missiles) at a distance of about 40 kilometers from the front line. It was hit by a Russian Tornado-S (range up to 120 km). Importantly, that was a precision strike. This is very bad news for the Ukrainian army, which used to have superiority in counterbattery fire. Not anymore. Moreover, the Russian complex has an advantage in range: 120 kilometers vs 85 kilometers, while the production cost per missile is similar. This enables Russians to strike the enemy without entering the target zone of their missiles.
