Altered Vintage Shabby Chic Jewelry Box - DIY

This beautiful thrift store find has been altered in a shabby chic motif. I was so happy to find this beautiful box to alter. I search the local thrift stores to find unique boxes and this one is a one time find. I almost never find something so ornate and I couldn’t believe it when I found this one. It didn’t look so great when I picked it up as it was a brown color and looked a little tattered, however once I cleaned it up, painted it and added all of my beautiful embellishments it turned into a treasure.
