Siberian tigers are the apex predators of their terrain and are really huge cats. According to recent findings, the average Siberian tiger weighs around 389 lbs (176 kg). This is due to habitat loss and poaching. There have been reports of Siberian tigers hunting and fighting bears, but the results are up for debate. The African lion lives in the savannas and grasslands of Sub-Saharan Africa, the most competitive ecosystem in the world. They too are also the apex predators of their environment, however, they do live in prides, unlike the Siberian tiger, which is a solo hunter. The average male South African lion weighs around 412 lbs (186 kg) on an empty stomach. Lions have been known to hunt just about anything they can get their paws around, like elephants, buffalo, and zebras.
