Fonome, formerly part of Seville’s legendary Union Records, is a well known figure of the Spanish underground scene, mixing a blend of Techno, Electro and darker sounds in his productions. With his latest release, JESUS IS WATCHING, Alfonso uses music to talk about humanity’s duality: do we believe in the almighty gods and own the knowledge of truth, or do we believe in aliens and watch a lot of 90’s movies and are therefore influenced by this imaginary? The whole album is a mix of ambient, Electronica, Techno, Electro that conceptually are expressing Fonome’s anger, doubts, thoughts. For example, Charlatan (the album’s first single), is an attack to failed politicians and their actions. In the tracks you can hear samples of different speeches used to show the negative impact these are having on our society.
