The 78th Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race will go down in history as a relentlessly demanding test of determination, as well as physical and mental resilience for the 103 yachts taking part. For the overall winner, Tasmanian yacht Alive, preparation and strategy, along with experience and local knowledge, were key to victory in 2023.
