Deine Lakaien - Battle Of The Ghosts (The Concert That Never Happened Before)

Dear music friends and fans, here is another song that was only heard live at this particular concert: “Battle Of The Ghosts”. The song is about a ghost battle to which, based on the ghost scene from Shakespeare’s “Macbeth“, the military leaders Ronald, Maggie and a fat Teuton came together. Here, too, we needed two attempts before the song ran as desired with our Revox tape machine and the beautiful synthesizers. As you can probably hear, this song is rhythmically tricky, with many odd bars. You can still see the old saying “no risk, no fun” on our faces. Yes, it was a great pleasure to perform this ironic song from our album “1987“, which, as is well known, was released 15 years late. Have fun with this musical “fight“!
