Gustav Mahler’s “Symphony No. 3“ opens the 2023 edition of the prestigious Lucerne Festival. The Austrian composer’s work fills the stage at KKL- Lucerne’s culture and convention centre- like a hymn to nature, deftly performed by the Lucerne Festival Orchestra and contralto Wiebke Lehmkuhl under the direction of Estonian conductor Paavo Järvi.
