Ukrainian forces in January tried to attack using drones a hangar in the Smolensk region where parts of the Polish Tu-154 that crashed in 2010 are stored, DPR head Denis Pushilin’s advisor Jan Gagin told Sputnik. He provided the route of one of the downed drones that was taken from the device’s memory card. Kiev was trying to destabilize the situation in Russia by doing so - it believed that it would be able to claim that Russia was trying to destroy evidence so that it would not be able to reinvestigate the case.
