The Beatles - This Song of Love (aka It’s Just For You)

Presumably written by Paul, this song was recorded in a few different takes during the Get Back sessions. Interestingly, the tune is borrowed from Brahms’ ’Hungarian Dance No. 4,’ while the lyrics are presumably inspired by the 1947 film ’Song of Love.’ This song is important in that it is one of only a handful of songs in which the Beatles explicitly reference classical music. Also, it really is a beautiful little song. Recorded 14 Jan 1969
