Cymatic experiment

A short audio visual project for my college project in 2009, illustrating sounds effect on water and a Non Newtonian Fluid (cornflour & water). We used low and high single tone frequencies, a Tibetan Monk chanting the Heart Sutra as well as music, played through the speaker at different volumes to create the patterns. The songs playing in the video were the songs used to make the patterns, but were overdubbed back in to the video for sound quality. Cymatic patterns displayed. Music and Sound Design by Manpanics
