Metallica and Megadeth for example. Are they playing thrash metal or heavy metal? But I believe “Fight Fire With Fire“ is a thrash metal riff but “Sad But True“ is a heavy metal riff. And Megadeth “Holy Wars“ is thrash metal and “Killing Is My Business..“ is heavy metal but you can think otherwise cos’ as many men, so many opinions.
