Sky is attacking Iran!! Terrible hailstorm in Mashhad!
Severe weather continues to affect the Middle East.
After recent dust storms, a severe storm with hail and rain hit the city of Mashhad in Iran on June 10.
Just on this day, many pilgrims gathered in the holy city to take part in the events dedicated to the anniversary of the birth of Imam Reza.
The sky darkened dramatically, and billions of ice stones rained down on the city.
Some of them were up to 6 cm in size.
The hail was accompanied by strong gusts of wind up to 75 km/h.
Local residents who left their homes were forced to take refuge in nearby places.
The streets became white, as if covered with snow.
Several roads on the outskirts of the city were flooded.
A weather station at Shahid Hasheminejad International Airport recorded 35mm of rainfall.
Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or casualties.
