ENCANTO | Bolero Dance Style Animation Test | Angelo | @3DAnimationInternships

This is the first animation test I got to do during pre-production on Encanto. We were looking to explore the Bolero dance style for the movie. I focused on trying to get interesting shapes as well as that fast-slow romantic timing that Bolero is known for. I tried to get a wide range of choreography in there as well (simple steps as well as difficult competition-like ones too). This test was a good opportunity for exploring Augustin and Julieta’s character and how they were like together (I think this was the first test of Augustin and one of the first Julieta tests). .
