Live: Latest on landslide in SW China’s Yunnan Province

A landslide struck a mountainous village in southwest China’s Yunnan Province on Monday. The toll of missing people has risen to at least 47, and more than 10 people have been found dead, according to the local disaster relief headquarters. Disaster relief funds of 50 million yuan (about $7 million) have been allocated to help with search and rescue efforts, relocation, resettlement secondary disaster detection, and repairs of damaged buildings, according to the Ministry of Emergency Management and the Ministry of Finance.
