A Common Grackle hunts for food along the shore of a small creek. It sees a large worm under the water, snatches it, and pulls it to shore. This worm turns out to be the invasive jumping worm that’s spreading across the U.S. It’s known by several names - Alabama jumper, snake worm, crazy worm, Jersey wiggler - and it’s causing ecological damage in North American forests. The grackle and jumping worm fight it out on the rocks and in the water.
