The Earth’s atmosphere turns harsh causing occasional toxic storms and forces humans to take indoor shelter. Because of this, humans refrain from going out at all times. But a Scanvenger (Bob) still goes about his chores, searches for and collects discarded items to be reused. Until one day Bob chance upon a thrown away robot, thinking he could fix and reused it, he decided to bring it home.
