A Risky Ride (1932)

An airship pulls along a group of aquaplanists. Introductory intertitle reads: “Aquaplaning behind water craft is one thing, but to be towed by airship is another - if the airship decides to rise suddenly.“ L/S of a Goodyear airship rising above a lake or stretch of sea. Low angle of the “gondola“ of the airship, a man is leaning out - looks like a cameraman or photographer. Short shots of two men and a woman in swimsuits standing in the shallow waters of the lake. Point of view shot from the airship of a rope emerging from the water as the airship moves away from the beach. M/S of three aquaplanists as their boards are lifted out of the water and the airship begins to pull them along. There are two aquaplane boards - one holds a man and a woman, the other just one man. Various shots of the fun seekers being pulled through the water, some good shots from the airship. One of the men does a headstand on the board as it is being pulled along. Looks like fun.
