️ China’s J-35 stealth jet boasts radar profile smaller than human palm China’s carrier-based J-35 fighter jet possesses a radar cross-section smaller than a human palm, state broadcaster CCTV reported, citing its unique design and advanced metamaterial technology, which is a major leap in stealth capability. While the exact figure remains classified, the J-35’s radar cross-section is believed to fall within the 10–100 cm² range, making it comparable to the US F-35’s signature, which is roughly the size of a golf ball (~ m²). The J-35 has also achieved key operational milestones, having successfully completed catapult launch and arrested landing tests aboard China’s newest aircraft carrier, the Fujian, which is equipped with an advanced electromagnetic catapult system.
