Ola & The Janglers - Let’s Dance, 1968

Posted by Ola and the Janglers, swedish popgroup formed in Stockholm 1962. In the beginning the band consisted of: Ola Håkansson (singer), Christer Idering (guitar), Johannes Olsson (organ), Lennart Gudmundsson (bass), and Leif Johansson (drums). Claes af Geijerstam took over after Idering as player and Åke Eldsäter for Lennart Gudmundsson as bass player1965. Let’s Dance was a big hit for Chris Montez but Ola & the Janglers managed to get a big hit with it in 1968, even making a dent in the american Billboard hot 100. This video was made with clips from the movie Beach Blanket Bingo from 1965, starring Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello and my idol Buster Keaton.
