What Happens When You Put A Can Of Soda In A Huge Vacuum

In this video I put a soda can in the vacuum chamber to see if I can get it to explode. I talk a little bit about soda cans exploding and that you need to either increase the temperature of the can or reduce the pressure around the can. You can check out my science channel to see why shaking a can of soda doesn’t actually increase the pressure in an un-opened can of soda. I end up having to warm up the soda and then it finally explodes in the vacuum chamber. It leaves the soda completely flat with no carbonation left.
