Frozen & Dark | Winter Life in Alaska

Winter life in Alaska is not always easy, considerable energy is spent every day for the life we chose to lead but in return we are rewarded with unmatched beauty. We seize the opportunity to head into Alaska’s backcountry via snowmachine and visit the mighty Spencer Glacier. With this winter’s cold temperatures we run into several issues with our generator. After Eric installs a cold weather kit we head outside for snow removal. The hard work and low light hours on the shortest day of the year leaves us feeling exhausted, yet inspired to get out enjoy another day in Alaska’s frozen terrain.
