Keir Starmer Attacked From Left And Right For Plan To Stop Channel Crossings

Keir Starmer has come under fire from both the left and right after he set out plans to stop small boats crossing the English Channel in Labour’s first big intervention on the issue. A political battle has broken out over the opposition leader’s proposals for closer co-operation with Brussels on immigration, with Rishi Sunak claiming they could result in 100,000 EU migrants coming to the UK every year. TalkTV’s Mike Graham is joined by former MEP Ben Habib, who shares how he thinks the Government should tackle migration, taxes and benefits to make us “a proud nation”. Ben says: “You could stop the boats overnight if you wanted to”. #immigration #talktv #talkradio
