Europe experiences hundreds of tornadoes every year. Due to the population density, dozens of tornadoes cause moderate to severe damage to man-made structures every year, especially in Central Europe. Particularly countries like the Netherlands, Northern France, Germany, Northern Italy, Poland, Ukraine & Western Russia are repeatedly experiencing destructive and huge tornadoes. In the past, several F5’s - even high-end F5’s - touched down in Europe. Destructive tornadoes are therefore not uncommon in Europe.
