’Blood on the Risers’ but it’s sung by the ghosts of the 2nd American Civil War

Kaiserreich- It’s 1959, and you’re a detective investigating a recent spate of disappearances throughout the ’Land Between the Lakes’ National Park. While traveling to investigate a lead, faint light and movement catch your attention in the forest. You stop the car and plan to see if anyone needs assistance. However, as you make your way through the woods, you suddenly realize you’re surrounded by hundreds of figures dressed as if they were back in the War. Voices begin to sing but you can’t seem to pinpoint the direction it’s coming from. The soldiers start to approach you and your only instinct is to flee as fast a possible. You run for what feels like miles until you can no longer hear the distorted voices and the threat of being swallowed by the ghostly mob is gone. You take a short break to collect your thoughts and take note of your surroundings only to realize you are completely and utterly lost. Background art by u/mg42tomi
