It would also look good for a cold-weather or winter garment. You will need to already know how to crochet a chain, slip stitch, and half double crochet. This is a simple pattern to remember, since it alternates between slip stitches and half double crochet stitches. And all stitches are done in groups of five (5). Plus done in the BLO - back loops only. As far as the yarn, I have used this yarn in other stitch samples before, and the first question I get is, “What kind of yarn is that?“ Actually, I am not sure. Because stitch samples are small squares that I make for videos, I don’t use my good yarn. I usually use odds and ends from other projects.
