The Prince In The Highlands (1931)

Full title reads: “The Prince in the Highlands. Inverness - gay with flags & bunting - gave great welcome to HRH when he received the Freedom of the Burgh.“ Inverness, Scotland. Prince Edward, Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor) in highland dress and Provost MacEwen is greeted by General Sir Ian Hamilton, President of the British Legion. The Prince inspects ranks of ex-servicemen and veterans. The Prince greets a Boy Scout leader with the correct left hand handshake. He meets other local dignitaries. He is visiting the new Boy Scout Headquarters. High angle view as he arrives at the Town Hall for a Gathering of the Chiefs. The Prince inspects a Guard of Honour formed by soldiers of the Seaforth Highlanders. High angle view of the Prince walking into a building. N.B.
