Easy Quilt Block for Beginners. Upcycling of Fabric Scraps. Patchwork Ideas to Make
If you are just planning to take up patchwork, these are the blocks you should start learning with. They are very easy to sew but the designs come out very beautiful.
Cut: Orange fabric: 4-1/2“ square
blue fabric: 2-1/2“ square, 2-1/2*4-1/2“ rectangle
pink fabric: 2-1/2“ square, 2-1/2*4-1/2“ rectangle
yellow fabric: 2-1/2“ square, 2-1/2*4-1/2“ rectangle
dark blue fabric: 2 2-1/2“ squares, 2 2-1/2 * 4-1/2“ rectangles, 2 2-1/2 * 6-1/2“ rectangles.
Sew with a 1/4 inch seam allowance.
Finished block size 10-1/2“
