Burned old excavator restoration | Fully restored transmission gearbox of excavator ( Part 3 ) Excavator on site caught fire and burned down. We rescued it to restore it. In part 1 of the project to restore the excavator destroyed by fire at the construction site. We focus on dismantling every detail of the excavator, re-inspecting the whole thing, re-welding damaged parts and restoring the crankshaft. Part 2 we restored the full diesel engine of the excavator. It works very well. In this part 3 we will restore the excavator gearbox and try to complete this project in part 4. Recovering the burned excavator after the big fire caused a lot of difficulties for us. This is a challenge for us. Therefore, we need your input so that we can complete this restoration project.
