Rumba Groove on Bongos #1–3

Rumba-fast dance music with roots in Africa, has spread all over the world. It can be found in Spain in the West Indies and of course in Cuba. This word has become synonymous with“Party“. Bongos are an unconventional instrument for performing Cuban Rumba, but there is also Gypsy Rumba (Balkan music) and Bongos play an important role in it. These examples of performance were presented by Bob Evans for his textbook on playing the bongos in 1960. Here it is played in the key of Rumba Clave 3-2. Often played very fast, these examples for playing on Bongos are just for such cases.
