Storms and flash flooding impact Adelaide

The South Australian State Emergency Service has received more than 250 requests for help today after storms and heavy rainfall hit Adelaide. Flash flooding impacted roads and homes across Adelaide, with an intense downpour of 45 millimetres between 6am and 7am this morning. Sydney is also expecting wild weather today and tomorrow. A deluge of torrential rain is expected to hit the city over the next 48 hours. New South Wales residents right across the state are being warned to expect severe thunderstorms, giant hail, and damaging winds.
