Protesters denounce Austria’s lockdown for unvaccinated

Anyone who is not fully vaccinated and over the age of 12 can only leave their house for specific reasons, such as going to work, to the supermarket or exercise. The move comes as Austria amid a surge in COVID cases with more than 9,900 infections reported in one day. Austrian Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg said authorities ‘are not taking this step lightly, but unfortunately, it is necessary’.
