Lost Castle of Königsberg, East Prussia (Modern Kaliningrad, Russia) Founded 1255 by Teutonic Order?

Howdy ya’ll. Today we’re going to look at the lost castle of Königsberg in the former capital city of the same name in East Prussia. This beautiful capital city, formerly known as Königsberg, was handed over to the Soviet Union and renamed Kaliningrad after The Second World War. The History of Königsberg, the city, is directly related to the castle, and can be traced back to 1255 and The Baltic Crusades. Today we will view the oldest and most detailed photographs of this historic and lost German castle, while briefly diving into the currently accepted history. The majority of the Königsberg Castle, and surrounding city, was destroyed during WW2, before being rebuilt under new leadership.
